Gifts Made Beautiful (or GMB, as call ourselves) is Cleveland's newest gift wrapping service. 2024 is our first year on the scene and we're kicking off hard with a new take on this growing service.
We help you take the hassle out of buying and wrapping gifts, while still giving you all of the choice on how you want it wrapped. (And of course, we encourage you to take all the credit - after all, you decided to hire us! )
And holiday wrapping is just the beginning:
In early 2025 we'll be introducing our Event Services with wedding favors, bridal party gifts, goodie bags & more. Later in the year, we'll debut our business focused offerings, with client and employee gift sourcing, customization and delivery - all showcasing Cleveland Pride!
When the 2025 Holiday Gift-Giving Season rolls around, we'll have more to offer in our services, including handmade custom tags that will double as ornaments and some special perks in place for our returning customers.
Even then, the fun is just beginning! We also have plans for a retail shop, wrapping classes for kids and adults, and a line of custom papers showcasing local artists.
So jump on the GMB wagon early - It's gonna be a good ride!
Who is behind Gifts Made Beautiful??
Meet Sabrina and her daughter, Kathrin
GMB is the brainchild of Sabrina Gorbett. At 50, Sabrina realized she was half-way through her adulthood and knew it was now or never if she was ever really going to work for herself. Creativity and customer relations were both "musts" on her list - and the answer presented itself very quickly. (Sorry, not sorry!) The 2023 holiday season began and once again, she was seeing the memes and click-bait news clips complaining about gift wrapping.
Sabrina had found her new direction. A gift-wrapping service that could help people fall back in love with giving gifts by making it as "client hands off" as possible. Could clients simply buy the gift, hand it over and not think about it again until the time came to give it away?
The ideas began flowing fast and furious. By summer of 2024, Gifts Made Beautiful was formed and priming to go. And Sabrina was hitting a mental road-block. With so many ideas tumbling around in her head, she was quickly becoming overwhelmed.
Enter Kathrin. At home with her mom for the summer break, she helped Sabrina cut through some of the mental clutter and get to the heart of what needed to be done. She also developed the successful 2024 summer marketing plan and helped get GMB moving in the right direction.
While Kathrin is back at college full-time, Sabrina is supported by a motley crew of friends as she plugs away at the day to day of building and running GMB, including the building out and opening of their workshop in Parma Heights. With their first holiday season starting, the mother and daughter team talk often and are excited to see their ideas continue becoming reality!
